Below is the detailed amended academic calender of the Federal University of Technology, Minna for the 2012/2013 session.

MONDAY, October 8, 2012 to Saturday, April 6, 2013
(6 weeks of Registration, 15 weeks of lectures, 2 weeks of Exams.
8/10 – 17/11/12- On-line registration for all students
31/10/12- Arrival of all students on campus
12/11/2012 – Matriculation ceremony of new intakes.
15/12/2012 – Annual leave for academic staff only(4 weeks).
22/12/2012- End of the year break.
14/01/2013- Resumption and commencement of lectures for all students.
25/03 – 6/04/2013- Examination for all levels (2 weeks).
8/04 – 20/04/2013- First semester break (2weeks).
NOTE EVERY Wednesday, LECTURES TO END BY 2PM: SPORTING ACTIVITIES FOR ALL STUDENTS.
