The Students' Union wishes to inform all beneficiaries of the NELFUND Student Loan Scheme that., following several engagements and advocacy efforts with the University Management regarding the refund of school fees paid by students who later benefited from the loan scheme, significant progress has been made.
We are pleased to note that the refund process has improved considerably în recent weeks, with many students already receiving their refunds. We commend the Management for these improvements and encourage them to sustain and further enhance the process.

The new development University Management will no longer accept physical or manually submitted refund application letters. Henceforth, all refund processes will be handled electronically through the NELFUND Portal using the bank account details provided by beneficiaries during registration.
Therefore, all students who benefited from the 2024/2025 NELFUND Student Loan and are yet to receive their school fees refund are advised to:
Upload their school fees receipt on the NELFUND Portal and the account details provided on the nelfund portal.
Ensure that the bank account details on the portal are correct and active.
Complete the required process through the link provided below.
Deadline: 12th June, 2026
Students are strongly advised to comply on or before the stated deadline to avoid delays in processing their refunds.
