Hypothenuse= x
Opposite= y
Adjacent= 2
Angle= 60°

From SOHCAHTOA,

Opposite / Adjacent= y/2= tan (60°)

y= 2tan60°= 2√3

Also, from Pythagoras theorem,

(Hypothenuse)²= (Opposite)² + (Adjacent)²

x²= y² + 2²

x²= (2√3)² + 4

x= √(4 × 3 + 4)= √(12 + 4)= √16= 4.

Thus, x= 4, and y= 2√3.
