The University of Uyo Students' Union Government (SUG) has officially commenced the distribution of the specially customized "UNIUYO SUG Notebook" to all students of the institution.

In a public notice issued on Monday, January 19, 2026, and signed by the Students' Union President, Comrade Utibe Afia, and the Director of Information, Comrade Godwin Patrick, the Union announced that the 8-in-1 notebook initiative is now available for collection.

According to the notice, the notebook is an entitlement for every student of the University of Uyo. Distribution will take place at designated centres across the university's three campuses:

· Main Campus: UNIUYO Printing Press & Digital Ltd.

· Town Campus: Students Affairs Division

· Annexe Campus: Faculty of Management Sciences Resource Centre

To collect the notebook, students must meet specific criteria. They are required to have completed the payment of their first semester school fees for the 2025/2026 academic session. Eligible students are to visit any of the pickup centres starting from Monday, January 19, 2026, with the following documents:

1. The original copy of their school fees receipt, which must be duly signed and stamped by the Faculty Bursary or Finance Officer.

2. A photocopy of the same receipt.

The Union emphasized strict adherence to the guidelines, stating that "only students with properly signed and stamped receipts will be attended to."

The initiative is a flagship project of the 30th Students' Union Executive Council, led by President Utibe Afia. Other key officials of the union include Joy Bassey (Vice President), Bright Matthew (Secretary General), and Ukpong, KudomoAbasi (Financial Secretary).

Students are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity and ensure they have the correct documentation before proceeding to the collection points.
