The University Management has observed that Students are yet to resume for the Second Semester 2019/2020 academic session. The resumption date for the Second Semester 2019/2020 academic session as contained in the amended academic calendar was Sunday, 7th March, 2021 and lectures have commenced on Monday, 8th March, 2021.

In light of the foregoing, I have been directed to REMIND the entire University community, especially the returning Students of Preliminary, NCE I, Il and III, Degree 100, 200, 300 and 400 levels that the resumption date for the Second Semester 2019/2020 academic session still subsists, that is, Sunday, 7th March, 2021.

Students are therefore, ADVISED in their own interest to resume for the Second Semester without further delay. They are also reminded that Normal Registration has begun on Monday, 8th March, 2021 and it will end on Friday, 19th March, 2021 while Late Registration with Penalty begins on Monday, 22nd March, 2021 and ends on Friday, 26th March, 2021. 

By a copy of this circular, Lecturers are enjoined to commence lectures immediately and take attendance of Students accordingly. 

Staff and Students are enjoined to adhere strictly to the dates and periods indicated for programmes in the academic calendar.
