The Management of The Federal Polytechnic, Ede, has announced a two (2) week extension to the institution's approved Academic Calendar.
According to an official internal memorandum issued today, June 9, 2026, by the Registrar and Secretary to the Academic Board, Alh. S. A. Rafiu, the adjustment was made to accommodate and regularize a previous two-week concession granted to Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) students.

The management emphasizes that this extension is vital to ensure proper alignment of all academic activities and to adequately cater to the affected students without disrupting the overall academic calendar.

All students are expected to take note of the newly approved dates below:
New Resumption Date: Sunday, 21st June 2026

All students especially those returning from or currently involved in SIWES are strongly advised to utilize this window effectively, make necessary travel arrangements, and comply accordingly with the new timeline.
