The ages of three men are in the ratio 3:4:5. If the difference between the ages of the oldest and youngest is 18years, find the sum of ages of the three men
Answer:

108.

Step-by-step explanation:

let the age of smallest man be 3x as 3 is the smallest of all the no.'s in the question

let the age of second man be 4x

n let the eldest man's age be 5x as 5 is the largest of all in the question

according to the question

5x-3x=18

2x=18

x=18/2

x= 9

therefore

3x=3*9=27

4x=4*9=36

5x=5*9=45

now as we know the ages of the men we can easily find out the sum that is

27+36+45=108 ans.

hope it helps...
