PLEASE I NEED HELP WITH THIS
The hammer throw is one of four throwing events in track and field
competitions. It consists of a ball of approximate mass 7 kg attached by a
steel wire of length 120 cm to a grip, rotated in a circle before being released
from the thrower’s hand at around 30 m s-1
We can model hammer throwing by considering the above ball connected to
a light inextensible string of length 120 cm moving in a horizontal circle at a
constant speed of 30 m s-1.
(a) Calculate the angle, in degrees, through which the string turns in
0.25 s.
(b) Calculate the tension in the string. You may assume the string is
horizontal.?
