Taisolarin University of Education TASUED 2012/2013 post UTME date

The Ogun State Government-owned University of Education, Tai Solarin University of Education TASUED has announced registration and examination date for her 2012/2013 admissions into 100L (for UTME candidates) and 200L (for DE candidates).

The POST-UTME screening of the University of Education for the 2012/2013 session will take place as indicated below
Eligibility
(i) All candidates who have chosen TASUED as their first most preferred and/or second most preferred institution in the 2012 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, and have scored a minimum of 180 in the March 2012, JAMB examination.
(ii)ALL Direct Entry candidates who have chosen TASUED as their first most preferred and/or second most preferred institution for the 2012/2013 academic session and have applied through JAMB.
(iii)ALL Candidates seeking for a change of institution to TASUED through JAMB, having scored a minimum of 180 in the March 2012, JAMB examination.
(iv)Direct Entry Candidates seeking for a change of institution to Tai Solarin University of Education who must have obtained 2012 Direct Entry JAMB Form.
NOTE:

The category of candidates in iii & iv above should report at the Admissions Office for further processing of their request for change of institution.

How to Purchase Tai Solarin University's 2012/2013 Registration forms
(i)Obtain a scratch card TASUED Post-UTME Registration form for the sum of One Thousand Naira (#1,000.00) only from any of the following banks:
TASUED Microfinance Bank, Ijagun Campus, FCMB PLC, GT Bank PLC, Zenith Bank PLC, Access Bank PLC, SKYE Bank PLC, WEMA Bank PLC and U.B.A. PLC, all in Ijebu-Ode.

In addition, processing fee and bank charges of four thousand two hundred naira (N4,200.00) only should be paid to the aforementioned banks.
(ii)The scratch card shall have two numbers: PIN and Serial Numbers
(iii)The sale of scratch cards from designated banks and on-line registration commenced on Monday 28th May, 2012 and closes on Wednesday 13th June, 2012.
(iv)On-line registration on the University website will close by Friday 15th June, 2012.

METHOD OF APPLICATION (LOG IN PROCEDURE)
Post-UTME registration forms with brochure can be obtained ON-LINE through the following step by step procedure:
1. Go to a cyber café or anywhere you can have an internet access.
2. Visit the TASUED website by typing www.tasu.edu.ng on the web page. 3. Click Post-JAMB Registration Form. Candidates are STRONGLY advised to Click the University Degree Brochure and CAREFULLY study the O’Level requirements for the courses they have applied, BEFORE registration on the TASUED website www.tasu.edu.ng
4. Use your PIN and Serial Numbers (as contained on the scratch card obtained at the banks) to access your TASUED On-Line Application Form.
5. Complete the Application Form by providing the required information; and
6. Submit your Form by clicking submit button.
7. Print out a receipt containing your passport photograph in colour. The printed receipt will serve as candidate’s identification/admission card for the screening test.
NOTE: IJMB not acceptable
False information provided by any candidate shall be detected by the special TASUED software application and such candidates shall be disqualified.

SCREENING DATES
Screening shall be conducted on Saturday 16th, June, 2012 for all UTME (100 Level) candidates at the University Main Campus, Ijagun by 8.00 a.m.

Date of screening for Direct Entry (200 Level) applicants shall be Tuesday 10th July, 2012 and Wednesday 11th July, 2012 at the University Main Campus, Ijagun by 9.00a.m.
Screening exercise is a mandatory requirement for entry into Tai Solarin University of Education.

f.Sponsor’s Phone Number

SCREENING DETAILS
Each candidate shall bring along the following to the venue of the Screening exercise:
(i)Original colour print-out from the On-line registration
(ii)Original JAMB Examination Result Slip(Click here to get it or Direct Entry Registration Slip
(iii)HB pencil, eraser and pencil sharpener.

NOTE: Electronic calculators, cell phones (GSM, CDMA, etc.) and other electronic devices are NOT ALLOWED into the venue of the screening exercise and candidates are to arrive at the Screening venue an hour before the commencement of the exercise.

(iv)The results of the screening exercise should be checked through the University website five (5) working days after the screening exercise through the same Scratch Card used for registration.

All correspondence on the Screening exercise should be directed to the Admissions Officer at the University Main Campus, Ijagun, P.M.B. 2118, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State.
