The Students’ Representative Council (SRC) of Saadu Zungur University, Bauchi State, has issued an urgent advisory to all students regarding the payment of fees and other financial transactions.

In a notice dated 12th January 2026, the SRC President, Comr. Iliyasu Umar Adamu, strongly urged students to make payments only through approved university channels. These include the school ICT unit, recognized cafés on campus, or trusted and verified individuals known personally to the students.

The directive aims to protect students from falling victim to fraudsters and unauthorized persons who may attempt to deceive or exploit them financially.

“Students are therefore urged to exercise caution and take full responsibility when making any payment,” the notice stated. “This measure is strictly in place to safeguard the welfare and financial security of all students.”

The SRC emphasized its commitment to student safety with the tagline: “YOUR SAFETY, OUR PRIORITY.”

Students are advised to adhere strictly to these guidelines to avoid potential financial loss and ensure their transactions are secure and legitimate.
