This is to warmly welcome you in advance to the Second Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Session. The Department trusts that your break was restful and that you are returning refreshed, focused, and ready to pursue academic excellence with renewed commitment. You are encouraged to shun all forms of anti-social behavior and to always uphold good character, reflecting the values and ideals of the sociological profession.

​It is noteworthy that the Departmental Cultural Heritage Corner is already in use, and any student who wishes to display their culture may do so by donating any cultural item or tool for exhibition.

​While wishing you a safe return journey from your various locations, please note that the University calendar provides only one week for registration, commencing on 8th June 2026. All students are expected to adhere strictly to this schedule.

​Importantly, the 75% minimum class attendance requirement will be fully enforced in line with University regulations. To ensure compliance and effective implementation, the Departmental Academic Development and Quality Assurance Committee will oversee and monitor the process.
