A message from The Rivers State University of Science and Technology (RSUST).

University’s attention has been drawn to a malicious text message being circulated by unknown persons to discredit our institution with regard to its hard earned operational license.  

It will be recalled that RSUST now has ALL its courses accredited.  The University was rated “A” by the National Universities Commission (NUC) in the last Institutional Accreditation, to operate unhindered for the next five years. 

RSUST recently shot up from 76th position to the 19th position on the World Webometric Ranking Table of Nigerian Universities.

Staff, Students and the general public are therefore advised to disregard any rumour suggesting anything to the contrary and be informed that normal academic activities resume in the University on Wednesday August 22, 2012 after the Eid el Fitri holiday.
