Earlier on, we reported a story of a University of Ibadan student who died in a soap-making factory in Ibadan, after allegedly falling in a machine at the factory while on night shift. The family of the deceased student had mobilized people to barricade the road leading to the factory in an apparent protest against the way and manner the company handled the incident.

 The company where the incident happened Expand Global, have issued a press statement concerning the incident and visited the family of late Richard.
