The Ogun State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has announced that all Public and Private Primary and Secondary Schools, as well as Government Technical Colleges in the state, will proceed on Mid-Term Holiday for the Second Term of the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

According to the press release issued by the Honourable Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Abayomi A. Arigbabu, FMAN, FSTAN, the holiday will run from Thursday, 19th February to Friday, 20th February, 2026.

The Ministry also announced that Open Day will be observed by both Public and Private Primary and Secondary Schools on Wednesday, 18th February, 2026.

Schools are expected to resume for normal academic activities on Monday, 23rd February, 2026.

Parents and guardians are advised to take adequate care of their wards during the holiday period.
