The Benue State Education Quality Assurance and Examinations Board (BEQAEB) has officially announced an extension for the 2026 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) registration period.
In a statement released by Jeffrey Adzam, the Board’s Information Officer, the extension is designed to allow candidates who have not yet registered to complete their process and ensure no student is left behind.
Stakeholders and school administrators are urged to take immediate action within the newly approved timeframe to avoid missing the final deadline.

Registration Period:
From March 23rd to April 7th, 2026
All schools that are yet to finalize their registration are advised to visit the official BEQAEB portal at beqa.be.gov.ng to complete the process within the extended timeframe.
