Khalifa University, Kano, Nigeria, is pleased to announce the 2024 Abdul Samad Rabiu Africa Initiative Scholarship Grant. This prestigious scholarship aims to support academically outstanding students from underprivileged backgrounds across Africa, enabling them to pursue their undergraduate studies with full tuition coverage.

Eligible Academic Fields:

Medical Laboratory Science, Nursing, Radiography, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Forensic Science, Industrial Chemistry, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics with Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Mechatronic Engineering. 

Eligibility Criteria:

* Prospective applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for the scholarship:

* Be a citizen of an African country.

* Demonstrate a strong academic record with a minimum GPA of 3.5 on a 5.0 scale (or equivalent) for current university students or a minimum of 8 credits in WAEC/NECO examinations and a score of 200 and above in UTME for prospective students.

* Provide evidence of financial hardship and inability to fund undergraduate studies independently.

* Demonstrate active participation in extracurricular activities, particularly those related to STEM fields, community service, or leadership initiatives.
