Dr afolaya you are getting us confused... Y dont you just elaborate on the english marking scheme... This might actually Convince us...... Thanks

I don't think that's 100 per cent correct. I scored 67 and 81 in chemistry and physics respectively last year.

There is no negative marking at all but note that some questions in physics, chemistry and biology attract three marks too so note it.Diagrams are mostly three marks while some are two and also in chemistry some illustration is also three. No negative marking and the total of use of english is 150 but rounded up to 100 direct from source
There is no negative marking but they do subject balancing (i've forgotten d exact words they used) as i was tojld by a jamb rep. & other jamb official. Which is why it is not difficult 2 c mths/phy wit high scores of 90+ b/c of d calculatns & yet quite difficult for literature/biology 2 get 70+. Dat dey multiply a particular subject wit a particular no (2.45 for maths last yr) & then find d average.
Dats y if u r sure of 30 & shade jst d 30, u r sure of 90+ score yet sm1 who shaded all but got only 30 will have a lower mark. Its also d reason we have -ve nos

Whatever b d case whether negative or positive markin o my scores is already settle 250 -290 those dat prayin 4 sucess wil til suceed. Amen. Tank 4 d enlightenment.
