For the English, it was the same as in the JAMB past questions but the questions were scattered.
The topics that came out in chemistry were: Forward reaction and backward reaction, fountain experiment,pH, separation techniques, solubility, Relative Atomic Mass, formula for detergent without soap, example of branched and straight chain, organic chemistry
In Physics was linear expansivity, celcius to Fahrenheit, relative density, specific heat capacity( the one that involves electricity), waves, convex and concave mirror, focal length, capacitance, angle of declination, Snell law formula, gravitational field, resultant, demagnetization, modes of heat transfer, dimension for power
In biology was types of rain forests in Nigeria, labelling of female reproductive system.
I left my Examination hall about 3 to 4 hours ago, and I wasn't really happy about how everything went.
I stayed over with a friend and a classmate who is a student of Chukwuemeka odumegwu ojukwu university, Igbariam because my house is far from there.
I went to bed on time without even feeling having any examination phobia. I tried my best to read everything that I can but I lost track of time.
The summary of how the Examination went...
I woke up by 4 AM in the morning, took my bath and then studied for an hour before I walked to my center which is Elibrary. My Examination time was 6:30 AM but we didn't start on time. I think we went in by 8:15 AM and then, a woman and a man was doing thumbprinting for us and then my turn came, and i went to find my seat number which is 79th. We waited for about an hour before all the 6:30 AM students settled down.
I was already tired of waiting and I started being nervous. I said a little prayer and then, they told us to start.
Yes, I started from English language which is Comprehension and Open sentence. Comprehension is about an author that was talking about science and how it should be done, stuff like that and open sentence is about is about Raw materials like coal etc. Like a country who use this raw material for exchanges. I left there because i was running out of time. I went to stress pattern like Flabbergasted, Enthusiasm etc. Emphatic stress like, we BROUGHT a car to England, etc. question tags too. I came to the last part and saw sweet sixteen questions which I don't know. Yes, I answered it according to my own thinking.
I checked the time, I lost 30 minutes just writing English language and then, i went to Biology which didn't waste a lot of time. The theory of evolution of use and disuse which is Lamarck. The Fossil record in evolution topic. The reproductive system where the egg is fertilized. The Zygous questions came out. Blood group questions came out too, like Group O and B questions. A drawing of where Spore formation happens in a mushroom. Typhoid fever is caused by what? I can't remember everything though.
I spent about 34 minutes here and I found myself in Chemistry. Yes, time was running so fast and my heartbeat too, can't afford to submit without finishing the questions. Chemistry don't have a lot of calculations, I think about 10 which based on Solubility, Electrolysis, gas laws like general gas law, and even finding pH substances, Chains no...organic compounds etc.
I answered the ones I know and left others blank. They asked about Biomes, ecosystem, food chain, fountain experiment using ammonia and what element. aromatic compounds, gastric juice is from where? trypsin, pepsin, separation technique between NaCl and Iodine, about the longest chain which is catanation etc.
I didn't even check time, it was remaining only about 8 questions to finish in chemistry with only 30 minutes remaining for physics that I haven't opened. "WOW, how did time ran this fast", I said to myself.
My heart was crying and I jumped into physics because I didn't read physics all this while because, I wanted to concentrate more on the subjects that can help my score boost. It was full of calculation, gawddd da*mn. I started, i didn't have time to solve and everyone in my line already left couldn't ask for help because no one will love to put themselves in trouble. I said to myself, "physics, me and you today" I picked answers randomly and then came across this particular question, its about mirror. I think it's about plane mirror creating an image. I think that's the only question I recalled from there because I don't know what I wrote, haaaaa...
I went back to my chemistry and finished it up, looking at the time, I had only 2 minutes remaining and am done with everything, cross checked everything and ended my Examination. My leg couldn't move for a moment until I got myself and left the hall. I went straight to my friend's hostel and took my bag and myself home without smiling.
I just want to tell everyone to read. Time management is the key and answer questions smartly and don't waste any time on any question you didn't understand. Jump it if you see any, then go back later when you are done with others, you will thank me later if you follow this step. I am not that smart but I know that God is with me.
