MY JAMB EXPERIENCE
I wrote my JAMB at IRL IT Solutions beside ASD motors.
My exam was scheduled for 1:30pm and I got there to 1.
We waited for the last set writing to come out before we started queuing up
Girls were told to remove earrings and other accessories as well as boys
We were properly checked by security officers (male n female) and our temperature was checked and sanitizer given to us
We then input our biometrics and entered the hall , being directed by the officials to our respective seat numbers.
We waited for an hour before the exam started , so we started by 2:30.
The officials briefed us on how to use the computer and other instructions
We were also told to raise our hands if we need papers and/or pencils for calculations
There were cctv cameras.
The actual exam commenced by 2:30
I logged in and began
English had 60 questions , chemistry 40, physics 40 and biology 40.
I was able to use the onscreen calculator and I experienced no glitch w my system.
Questions from Saturday exams were repeated cuz I got the map , fingerprints and the question on kainji park.
Calculations on physics were basic n simple
Got questions on magnets , density, impulse e.t.c
Tbh most questions on Saturday were actually repated
Chemistry was the most difficult for me
Got questions on miners lamp , polymerization , pH e.t.c
Questions on life changer i can remember
Who is considered a blabbermouth among Ummi's children?
Why was Omar hurt?
Who is the most quiet among the children?
The narrator of the from the story is? answer was teacher.
These are the questions I remember

IF YOU HAVEN'T WRITTEN YET
*Trust God .
*Trust God
*Trust God
Scan through each topic
Practice w this app so you can learn how to manage your time efficiently
If you're taking physics , learn your formulas
Pray before you read for the last time and trust God once again
We'll make it. Amen!!

My JAMB Experience😎😎
At home:
I woke up precisely at 4:30 a.m. in the morning. That was the earliest i had been up for a long while now. I took my bath, brushed my teeth, combed my hair and put on the clothes I had selected for today. I grabbed my Jamb print-out slip then i decided to rest a while since there was still time.
On the road:
As a result of the very heavy rains that fell last night,my dad and I found it difficult to manoeuvre through potholes along the road.We had no option than to move slowly due to the road's terrible state.
Nearly four kilometers to my accredited Jamb CBT centre, our vehicle broke down. It did same twice earlier and this was worst since the vehicle failed to re-ignite. This made me leave my dad with his broken down vehicle behind 😭. I had no other option than to leave since I was running out of time.
In The CBT Centre:
Later on, I arrived in my centre. There were two canopies outside for parents, guardians, or siblings waiting for their children, wards or siblings who were writing the exams. To my surprise it was already filled up by people although the time was just some minutes past 7:00 am. I went directly to the gate with my face mask on. There, I was screened by a security personnel and another official took my Jamb print-out slip, glanced through it,then told me to proceed after giving it back to me. I went into the school following other people who seemed to be moving to the Jamb CBT facility. I joined a queue whrn i arrived at the place. As the line slowly progressed, I glanced around for familiar faces but there were none. When it got to my turn, they took my thumb print and I was searched again- this time thoroughly. Then, i proceeded into the facility.
The first thing everyone observed before and when entering the facility was the stern looking faces of all the invigilators. It was as though something had rid them of their individual joys that morning πŸ˜†πŸ˜†. I also observed that there were more than ten CCTV cameras in the large hall which was adequately ventilated, conditioned and lit. I, unlike the other students found my way through the maze of numerous cubicles with either a laptop or desktop in it. My seat number was 110, somewhere at the middle. I took my seat and waited for the invigilators' signal to start. Displayed on the screen of the laptop right in front of me was a message to people intending to engage in examination malpractice. There was a picture of a man in handcuffs and written in bold words on the screen "Examination malpractice is a criminal offence".
Fifteen minutes later, we were told to start. First by clicking a button on the bottom right corner of the screen. A new page appeared with "welcome" written above. In a small space provided below, we were expected to fill in our registration number. I did mine and continued with the login process. On another new page that appeared, I saw my picture, my registration number, seat number and the four subjects that I was about to write. I confirmed the face there as mine and confirmed my login as required. Then, what i had been 'steeling' myself for for the past months appeared on the screen before me.
My four subjects were English, Government, CRS and Literature In English.
English had sixty questions with 10 emanating from the prescribed general text by Khadijat Abubakar Jalli-The Life Changer. The first ten questions were on a comprehension passage on the causes of road accidents in Nigeria. Then, another ten were on Lexis and structure based on Government and its institutions. Two were on emphatic stress while three were on regular stress.Five were on rhyming vowel and consonant sounds and words. On antonyms and synonyms, five questions were set each. To me, I encountered only two difficult questions in the subject.
I moved on to CRS. It was not structured the way English was. In contrary to my expectations from what i had practiced with my WAEC CRS past questions, the questions were not arranged in the same sequence as the books of the bible were. If I'm not mistaken, my first question came from Chronicles based on Elijah. I encountered just three problems out of forty questions most of which were on the letters Paul sent to the churches. Then i moved on to Government.
As usual, forty questions were asked in Government. Government by nature was complex by nature and this reflected in the calibre of questions that were asked. The first five questions that were asked were based on principles of government. Things became wacky after the sixth question. Dont get me wrong-they were just tricky and technical not thus they required understanding, knowledge and ultra focus. Most of the technical questions came under constitutional development, political parties development and Nigeria and its international relations. Finally, i moved on to the last subject which was Literature.
Literature also had forty questions as usual. Most of the students who wrote this particular subject encounterd problems including me because we had thought that the new Literature texts and poems would be used but we discovered that too late. As a result,ee could not properly digest the entire novels and poems. This caused difficulty for some students but I successfully completed 38 out of forty questions. I encountered questions from Harvest of Corruption, A Raisin in The Sun,Blood of a Stranger, The Dining Table, Birches,The Proud King, The School Boy and many others. Questions from the books above did not exceed four and poems did not exceed two with emphasis on major themes. Ten more questions were based on general literary principles and four more on unseen prose.
To my surprise, I finished with almost sixty minutes remaining. I used thirty more minutes to cross-check all my answers and after three minutes of inactivity, I decided to submit. Immediately, I left the hall. There were no technical problems at all. Everything ran smoothly and I strongly commend by CBT Centre for a job well done even though we started thirty minutes after the time stated on my examination slip.
That was my JAMB experience people!!!🀸🀸
I hope you enjoyed reading 😘😁😊
