The Students’ Union Government of the Federal University of Technology, Minna, has assured students that significant progress is being made regarding the refund of school fees paid through student loans, despite ongoing delays.
In a press release dated 30th March 2026, the union explained that while thousands of refund letters are being processed, the exercise has been slowed by late submissions and incorrect information from some students. Common errors include wrong account details, mismatched names, and improperly addressed letters.

“This process requires time, coordination, and a high level of accuracy,” the union stated, adding that a large number of submissions have already been compiled and verified.
Students have been urged to ensure their details are accurate and to remain calm, as the union works with relevant authorities to complete refunds before the upcoming holiday period.
