The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Armaya’u Hamisu Bichi has directed all categories of staff of the University to resume duty on Monday, 28th September, 2020 accordingly and unfailingly.

The Directorate of Public Relations and Protocols reports that the Vice-Chancellor revealed the directive follows an instruction by the National Universities Commission (NUC) for Vice Chancellors of Universities to reopen their respective institutions due to the significant decline of people infected with COVID-19 in Nigeria.

“All staff are also to ensure strict compliance with other extant NUC quality assurance standards and guidelines”. the VC emphasized.

It could be recalled that FUDMA and other institutions of learning in the country were on Monday 23rd March 2020 directed by the NUC to immediately close both academic and administrative activities sequel to the COVID-19 pandemic in Nigeria.
