At its meeting held on 8th June, 2026 the Academic Board considered and gave approval to the policy on Deferment of Admission/Studies subject to the following eligibility requirements:

I. Candidates must have been offered provisional admission;

i. Must have accepted the offer of admission;

ii. Must have been registered by the Academic Unit of the Polytechnic;

iii. Submit a written application to the Registrar through their respective Head of Departments;

iv.State reasons for deferment and attach all relevant documents to support the request;

v. Attach evidence of payment of school fees;

vi. Deferment is for an Academic Session; and

The candidate is to note that he/she is expected to revalidate the admission on resumption and pay the school fees applicable.
