It was a dramatic one last Sunday at the convocation ceremony of Babcock university Ilishan-Remo, Ogun State, where the Nigerian music superstar Davido was said to be one of the 1, 544 graduating students.

The Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala was delivering a speech when Davido walked into the venue of the ceremony, on sighting him the students filled the air with shouts of his name which gave the minister no other choice than to suspend her speech.

When it became difficult to calm down the students after several minutes, Davido’s father had to intervene by calling out his son out of the venue of the ceremony in order to restore normalcy.

“David! David! Leave this place now, and follow me where ever I go”, shouted the father.
