The attention of Babcock University has been drawn to a fraudulent Facebook account created in the name of the President/Vice-Chancellor. The university management wishes to clarify that this account is an impersonation and does not represent the institution or its leadership.
The Facebook account bearing the name Afolarin Olutunde Ojewole is FAKE. It was not created, nor is it managed by the President/Vice-Chancellor or Babcock University. Any messages, requests, solicitations, or directives emanating from this account are fraudulent and must be completely disregarded.

Babcock University and the Office of the President/Vice-Chancellor DO NOT solicit funds, request personal information, or conduct official university business through unofficial social media accounts or private messaging platforms.
The University is currently collaborating with Meta and relevant security agencies to shut down the fraudulent accounts and investigate this breach.
