BASU Post-UTME registration, cut-off mark, eligibility application cost and screening procedure for 2020/2021 academic session have been announced by the management of the university. Cut-off mark is 160. The application cost is N2000. See full details below;

This is to inform all prospective candidates into Bauchi State University Gadau that the online screening exercise for 2020/2021 admissions has commenced. All prospective candidates into the various programmes of the University who have scored 160 points and above in their 2020 JAMB/UTME should visit the University’s website at www.basug.edu.ng for the screening procedure.

All candidates who are awaiting their O’Level results are to indicate clearly AWAITNG RESULT (AR) in the grades column on the screening form. Candidates are to make available such results once they are released by the Examination bodies.

ELIGIBILITY: To be eligible for the admission, a candidate must have: Scored a minimum of 160 points in the 2020 UTME examination; Obtained a minimum of five (5) relevant credits at O’ level (including English and Mathematics); Sat for the relevant UTME subject combination in the 2020 JAMB examination;

Direct Entry (DE) candidates shall in addition to the minimum of five (5) O’ level relevant credits (including English and Mathematics) must have scored a minimum of 7 points in IJMB or NCE and atleast lower credit in ND.

Method of Application

MODE OF PAYMENT: Eligible candidates are to pay the sum of Two Thousand Naira Only (N2,000.00) for the screening exercise through the payment options provided on the University’s website.

2. Make Post-UTME screening fee payment using your ATM card or by generating RRR and make payment in the bank (N2,000) for BASUG and N300 as transaction/portal charges for FlexiSAF). Details of the Bank account will be provided on the portal.

3. Fill in the online form providing the following information:

    a.Personal details including JAMB score and Registration number

    b.Educational Qualifications

    c. Contact information

    d. Chosen course of Study

4. Submit the form online. Applicants do not have to physically visit the campuses

5. Successful candidates will be contacted via the email addresses provided.

N.B Please note that if your O’level are not ready, indicate awaiting Result. You will be considered when the examination body releases the results.
