The University welcomes applications for the University of Waikato International Excellence Scholarship from international students who are new to studying at Waikato, and who are currently in New Zealand or will be coming to study here for face-to-face study in 2022.

Type: Entrance/School Leaver, Undergraduate, Postgraduate (Taught)

Number of Awardees: Several

Value of Scholarship: $20 000 towards tuition fees

Duration of Scholarship: The Scholarship is tenable only within the year for which it is awarded.

Eligibility: To be eligible, you must;

• be enrolling for the first time into undergraduate or postgraduate programmes at the University of Waikato.
• be International students
• have good academic records
