Al-Ansar University, Maiduguri, is pleased to announce an Automatic Scholarship Scheme for part payment of tuition fees for Self-sponsored candidates seeking admission during the 2025/2026 academic session to study in the University. This initiative, approved by the Founder and President of Al-Ansar Foundation, Dr. Mohammed Kyari Dikwa, mni, aims to ease the financial burden of higher education. This initiative represents the Al-Ansar Foundation's commitment to making quality education accessible to deserving students. Eligibility
The scholarship applies to:

- UTME candidates.

- Direct entry candidates.

- Transfer students from recognized Universities.

Requirements

1.UTME Candidates:

• Score at least 150 in the 2025 UTME.
• Correct UTME subject combination.
• Five 'O' Level credit passes, including English and Mathematics.

2.Direct Entry Candidates:

• Acceptable qualifications (NCE, ND, IJMB, etc.).
• Five 'O' Level credit passes, including English and Mathematics.

3. Transfer Candidates:

• Original University admission processed through JAMB (2022 or later)
• Confidential submission of original copy of Transcript of academic records to Al-Ansar University.
• Should satisfy academic and departmental requirements.

Programmes Covered

The scholarship applies to various degree programmes across:

• - College of Arts, Social and Management Sciences.
• - College of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences (excluding MBBS).
• College of Science, Information, and Communication Technology.

Important Information on Admission Procedure

• All uploads of results on JAMB Portal through CAPS should be in a CBT Centre approved by JAMB otherwise the candidate will not be visible for recommendation of admission by Al-Ansar University to JAMB for approval.

Candidates should constantly check their accounts on JAMB Portal/SMS from JAMB and accept offer of admission within Four (4) weeks otherwise JAMB will cancel the offer of admission automatically.

Dateline given by JAMB for admission in 2025/2026 Academic Session for all Private Universities in the country is end of November 2025 otherwise JAMB will not give approval for admission in the session.
