Abstract:
SUBJECT COMBINATION:
The University of Ibadan aligns its Post-UTME examination with the
subject combinations stipulated by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation
Board (JAMB). Consequently, candidates will sit for the same subjects in
their screening exam as they did in their JAMB examination. For instance,
applicants seeking admission to study Electrical Engineering at the
university will be required to take the Post-UTME examination in the
following subjects: Use of English, Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry,
mirroring the identical subject combination they had earlier taken in their JAMB exam.

Introduction:
The University of Ibadan (UI) examination format consists of 100
questions, which candidates are required to complete within a time frame
of 1 hour and 30 minutes. I have been inundated with numerous inquiries
regarding the cut-off marks at the University of Ibadan, and I shall
endeavor to elucidate the mechanism governing cut-off marks at the
institution. Please note that I will provide a detailed explanation to clarify
any misconceptions and furnish a comprehensive understanding of the
cut-off mark system employed by UI.
