Abstract

This publication "Information and Guidelines for Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme" (SIWES) Operation is one of the series in the Industrial Training Guides, which will be of immense benefit to those charged with the administration of the scheme.



The objective of this publication is to disseminate information on policies and guidelines on the operation of the Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme. The Scheme which is a skills training programme is designed to expose and prepare students of Universities, Polytechnics/Colleges of Technology, Agriculture and Colleges of Education to real life work situation after graduation. Moreover the Scheme is meant for students of Engineering and Technology including Environmental, Agriculture, Technical and Business Studies in Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria.
