Abstract

This project work is based on the significance of accounting packages in an accounting firm. The researcher tend to achieve that all manually run accounting firms should embrace the use of accounting packages as it gives more profit.



The results obtained were expressed in simple percentage form using tabular approach in the presentation and analysis of data. It was found out that accounting packages save a lot of time, it is used to track expenses, cash flow, project tax and inventory.



Accounting packages contributes immensely to meet the diverse need of customers. It also contributes in generating economic demand and supply. In view of all these benefit, we hereby recommend that customers should be able to afford the cost of service rendered by firms using accounting packages. When human do simple mechanical tasks such as typing, they should be careful to avoid making mistakes.
