Abstract:
The research investigated the influence of personality, work experience, and school type on the attitude of teachers towards inclusive education among teachers in Inclusive and noninclusive (regular) schools in Enugu East Local Government Area. Two hundred (200) participants (100 participants from Therapeutic Inclusive Schools and 100 participants from non-inclusive schools) participated in the study.

Participants' ages ranged from 29 years to 59 years, with a mean age of 44 years. Two instruments were used for data collation in the study: the Big Five Personality Inventory and the Multidimensional Attitudes Toward Inclusive Education Scale. Multiple regression was used for data analysis and the result showed that personality significantly influenced the attitude of teachers toward inclusive education (β=.34, t = -4.97, p< .05). The result showed that school type did not significantly influence the attitude of teachers towards inclusive education. The result was discussed and the implication and the limitations of the study were highlighted.
