Introduction:

Abstract

The aim of this study is to make sure that new individuals going into cooperative formation appreciate the importance of feasibility studies to make a successful cooperative business enterprise. Cooperative business enterprise can only be achieved and sustained when a feasibility study is well prepared and define the kind of business that is about to commence. The product, the resources and also time

location for the business operation, the drive for investment can only take place where there is sufficient money and resources. The importance of well prepared feasibility study as a requirement for starting a new cooperative enterprise cannot be over emphasized. This study is done in order for individuals establishing new cooperative to appreciate the importance of feasibility studies as a requirement for starting new cooperative enterprise. However, for a cooperative society to be successful in its business operations, the members, especially the students in the field have. to know the meaning of feasibility studies and its importance in sitting a new cooperative business enterprise. To actualize the purpose of this research work, the researcher adopted the primary and secondary sources of data includes the use of questionnaire, interview and observation. The secondary sources are test books, the library, journals, magazines, past related research work, and the internet. The data collected will be analysed using tables and percentages.
