Introduction:

Abstract

Estimation of vitamin C and A in the epicarp and mesocarp of mango fruit (German mango), was done by titrimetric method and calorimetric method respectively as reported by kirk and sawyer (1991) results obtained from the research, shows that, mango mesocarp contain 880.000mg/100 and 127.6344mg/100 concentration of vitamin C and A respectively while, mango epicarp contain 363.44mg/100 and 390.5696mg/100 concentration of vitamin C and A respectively. This result shows that mango mesocarp is more rich in vitamin C which helps in healing of wounds, while the epicarp is more rich in vitamin A which helps in nourishment of the skin.
