Abstract:
In this study, an attempt was made to examine whether communication has an effect on people’s behavioral change, especially on the perception of HIV/AIDS in Nigeria.
Questions were administered among randomly sampled respondents from the study population. The data obtained were analyzed using the table some findings formulated to direct the study were accepted.
Thus, there is the significance of mass media communication do people's perception of HIV/AIDS and increasing their knowledge about HIV/AIDS, raising awareness of personal risk factors, and also teaching vulnerable individuals the skill needed to reduce risky behaviors.
