Abstract:

The researcher adopted the survey method, using a questionnaire to collect data from 384 respondents. Residents of the Nsukka Local Government Area constituted the population of the study.

For the purpose of this research study multi-stage sampling techniques cluster, simple random, quota, and convenient sampling techniques were used to select respondents for their search. Datawereanalyzedbothquantitativelyand qualitatively. The study was anchored on three theories– social relations theory, multi-step/opinion leadership theory, and stakeholder theory. Findings from the study revealed the community relations strategies employed by Peace Mass Transit Limited are effective to an average level but challenges are facing the strategies that need to be solved.
