Breaking Down Of CONSTITUTION: What You Need to Know
In this video lesson, we will explore the concept of "Constitution" by discussing its definition, sources and features. We will then classify constitutions based on three different criteria:
1. Method of Codification - Written and Unwritten Constitution
2. Method of Amendment - Rigid and Flexible Constitution
3. System of Government - Unitary and Federal Constitution.
We will also discuss the features, merits and demerits of each type of constitution. Additionally, we will analyse various case studies to see how these classifications describe the constitutions of different countries. Finally, we will review some standard (WAEC and JAMB) past questions to solidify our understanding of constitutions.
