Explanation
Given tan x = 1
x = tan-1(1)

= \(\frac{1 - \frac{1}{2}}{\frac{1}{2}}\)
= \(\frac{1}{2} + \frac{1}{\sqrt{2}}\)
= \(\frac{1}{2} \times \frac{1}{\sqrt{2}}\)
= \(\frac{\sqrt{2}}{2}\)
