This traditional Swahili poem from Kenya centres on companionship. As social beings, no one is expected to live a life of solitude. It salks about companionship in basic aspects of life such as marriage and friendship. He talks about how a woman is incomplete without a partnership. It is this partnership that leads discord among their enemies. He also talks about how we should not walk alone. He says "he who walks alone has no good fortune".
