Marquess mayor is right, the answer is B not D. The fact remains that 3 answers here (B, C, D) seem right, but only option B offers the most clarity. Indeed, People are fighting (Cassio and Montano), then Cassio stabs Montano; however, Othello is only drawn to the brawl seen by the ringing of the bell.
