B should be the answer. How on earth can Simile and Metaphor both be in the same sentence?

it should be personification and simile because personification means giving an animate feature to an inanimate thing
'a deadpan look plastered on their faces' says it all
realistically, a deadpan look can't plaster on a person's face but literally it can and that's why it's personification

the correct answer is personification and simile because in the sentence there is no metaphor is not possible to put metaphor and simile together in one sentence
