Both flashback and flashforward are used to create suspense in a story, develop a character or structuring the narration. In literature, internal analepsis is a flashback to an earlier point in the narrative; external analepsis is a flashback to before the narrative started,..........therefore flashback is a narrative technique cause it helps to structure or develop narration!

As a mata of fact, Flashback is a device use 2 bring forward on wat apnd earlier in a play.Pls, b4 one ll go nd slanders oneself, der's nofin calld Flashforward in a literary wrk but, foreshadow.yap...DEbatin.....@.

flashback is never a narrative technique! Narrative techniques are basically three viz ; first person technique, third person technique and omniscience technique
