The question is a bit confusing, but technically, the answer is C. Had it been the phrase "in the absence of other character" was used, the answer would be B. Soliloquy, Aside, and Monologue are confusingly used interchangeably, and if one does not fully grasp the distinctive meaning of the three, one will definitely mistake one for the other.
In simpler sense of words,
* Soliloquy projects the mind of character to audience
* Monologue, also know as one-character play, is character making long speech on the stage and mentioning characters who are not presence on the stage at the moment.
* Aside is character popping out of other characters who are on stage to address the audience. It may be long or short. While addressing the audience, the other characters will either remain frozen or make their voices less audible. This act denotes that the character addressing the audience is not talking to them.
The right answer to the question C.

the answer to this question was soliloquy which was wrong while monologue was the correct answer.

I have noticed that some of the questions i answer in the pasted questions are correct but after the examination process, the explanation shows me that they are wrong, i.e it gives the wrong answer on Literature to be precise

Option B. Monologue, best fits this description.
Soliloquy is the projection of a characters thoughts.

The answer here is aside, soliloquy is the thoughts of the character been read out, not necessarily before other characters.
While an aside, is when a character addresses the audience in the presence of other characters.
