In one of the three jugs
The three jugs were on certain evenings to return the tranquil souls,
the breaths of the ancestors,
The ancestors who were men,
The ancestors who were sages,
Mother has dipped three fingers
three fingers of her left hand:
thumb, forefinger and middle finger
I have dipped three fingers
Three fingers of my right hand:
thumb, forefinger and middle finger.
(From "Viaticum"by B. Diop)
In this poem, the repetitive pattern suggests
pain,agony, and misery
ritual or established form of worship
the love of a mother for her child
the beauty of the full moon
the glorious lives of our ancestors

Yeah B is the correct answer cos for she to dips her fingers in the blood shows clear that is a sacrifice, any that has to do with blood like that is ritual

D ansa is B. The 3 finger nd forehead is d clue, the ritualist does dat nd it is also done in churches. The 3 fingers signifies trinity. Therefore the ansa is B.

Well, i like your sense of reasoning. Thanks for your answer, your must be a Yoruba, am i correct?

mere reading de poem u kw dat, dat is wht our forefadas use to do in an ancient days

Hmmmmm, I nearly get confused, but looking at d options, I make xample of d three fingers wit my hand....... It goes for spirituality.

The idea of souls of ancestors living in Jugs suggests spirituality, so B is evidently the answer

Talking about ancestors and petition of the 3 fingers which both mother and son did signifies a kind of ritual or rites which is believed in the traditional african society
