The selected answer is wrong:
Comedy in literature is not a play that make us laugh but that ends on a happy note or ends happily
REF: Exam focus on literature

The answer is meant to be D because in general literature definition any play that ends in a happy tone is a comedy

The answer is D beause for a play to make us laugh it will have some humour or laughter in it...Also a plain comedy will end happily..too...so it is D please @Myschool

I'm reporting this question because the answer might be wrong and I want you guys to review it.
I consider my answer to be D because it stands out from every other answer.

the answer to this is D remember a tragedy can make you laugh too but that doesn't qualify it to become a comedy because of it ending.
