The correct answer is 'C' because the book from the beginning is all about the travails of the girl child, Adah. It's all about her experience and not the marriage custom of igbo, infact much wasn't even mentioned about the marriage custom

the novel is definitely not about the marriage custo of the igbo, that theme isn't majorly expressed in the novel talk more of being what the novel exposes, it is more about the pre-eminent nature of the male child or the travails of the girl child
