Subject Combination JAMB UTME Requirements
Mathematics, Economics and any other Social Science subject
O'level Requirements
Five (5) SSC credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Economics and two (2) other relevant subjects.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
(i) LASU:
(a) For Insurance, it requires Five 'O' level credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Economics plus any two of Accounting, Business Method, Commerce, Government, Geography, and Statistics.
(ii) UNIBEN (for Insurance) – A pass in Further Mathematics is an advantage.
Direct Entry Requirements
Two (2)'A' Level passes including Economics.
SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS
(i) LASU accepts
a. ND/HND not admissible for Direct Entry.
b. For Insurance two (2) 'A' Level passes chosen from Economics, Accounts, Business Management, Government, Geography, and Statistics.
(ii) UNIBEN accepts
For Insurance and Actuarial Science:
a. Applicant should possess five (5) 'O' Level credit passes or equivalent, two (2) of which shall be at the 'A' Level or 'O' Level credit passes at least three (3) of which shall be at the 'A' Level provided that subjects are not counted at both levels of the examination. Credit passes at the 'O' Level must include English Language and Mathematics.
b. ND upper credit in relevant programme in addition to five (5) 'O' Level credit passes.
c. HND lower credit in relevant programmes in addition to five (5) 'O' Level credit passes.
d. Final Certificate of relevant Professional Bodies in addition to five (5) 'O' Level credit passes.
