Insurance can be studied under the Administration in the following Nigerian Universities;

In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Insurance under the Faculty of Administration in the above listed universities include;
Mathematics, Economics and one (1) other subject.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS:
(i) ABU requires Use of English, Economics, mathematics, and any Management or Social Science Subject.
(ii) UNILAG requires Mathematics, Economics and any one (1) Subject from Financial Accounting, Geography, Government, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Commerce
The O'level subject combination and requirements needed to study Insurance;
You require;Five (5) SSC credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Economics plus any two (2) of Accounting, Business Methods, Commerce, Government, Geography and Statistics.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS:
(i) ABU requires Five ‘O’ level credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Economics any other two (2) Subjects.
(ii) UNILAG requires ‘O’ Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any two (2) of Financial Accounting, Data Processing, CRS/IS, Further Mathematics, Geography, Government, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Commerce, Civic Education and Insurance.
(iii) NDU requires five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and any other two (2) subjects at not more than two (2) sittings.
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Insurance, if you don't intend to use UTME.
You require;Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes chosen from Economics, Accounts, Business Management, Government, Geography or Statistics.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS:
(i) UNIJOS accepts:
(a) Holders of HSC, GCE ‘A’ level, IJMB with passes in two relevant Social Science subjects.
(b) Candidates with lower credit in ND in Business Administration, Accounting, Purchasing and Supply, Marketing and other closely related programmes may also be considered provided such candidates satisfy the ‘O’ level credit passes requirements.
(ii) UNILAG accepts very good passes in three (3) JUPEB/’A’ Level subjects: Financial Accounting, Geography, Government, Biology, Economics, Chemistry, Physics, and Business Management/Business Studies.
(iii) ABU accepts Two ‘A’ Level / IJMB passes in Management/Social Science Subjects one of which must be Economics. A Merit in ABU Diploma in Insurance, Management, Banking or Accounting
