In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Business Administration under the Faculty of Social & Management Sciences in the above listed universities include;

Mathematics, Economics and any other Social Science subject


SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS

(1) EKSU require Economics, Mathematics, and any Social Science subject.

(2) BOWEN requires Government for Public Administration.

(3) UNIBEN (for Public Administration) requires Government/History, one Social Science subject and any other subject.


(4) WESTERN-DEL (For Business Administration) requires Mathematics, Economics and any other Social Science subject.

(5) LASU;
(a) For Business Administration requires one of Commerce, Geography or Government.
(b) For Insurance requires one of Geography, Commerce, Business Methods or Statistics.
(c) For Public Administration requires Government as the other subject.

(6) AUE requires five credit passes to English Language, Mathematics and any threes from Economics, Geography, Commerce, Government, Accounts and Book-Keeping at not more than two sittings.

(7) UMYUK requires for Public Administration Government or History.

(8) NTNU accepts Economics/Principle of Accounting and any two Arts or Social Sciences subjects.

(9) CRESCENT;
(a) for Business Administration requires Mathematics, English Language, Economics and Government/Commerce or any other social science subject.
(b) For Accounting requires English Language, Economics, Mathematics and Geography/Commerce/ Government.

(10) OOU accepts Mathematics/Economics and any two other Social Science subjects.

(11) PAN-ATLANTIC accepts Mathematics /Economics/Accounting/Commerce and any other relevant subjects

(12) MOUNTAIN TOP For Business Administration accepts, Mathematics, Economics and any other subject.

O'Level Requirements


The O'level subject combination and requirements needed to study Business Administration;

You require;

Five (5) SSC credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Economics and two (2) other relevant subjects.


SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS

(1) UNIILORIN requires 'O; level credit passes in any three of Accounting, Business Method, Commerce, Geography, Economics, Statistics and Government.

(2) AJAYI requires two other subjects from Accounting, Business Methods, Commerce, Geography and Government.

(3) RENAISSANCE and CRESCENT accept Commerce in lieu of Economics.

(4) CRESCENT;
(a) for Business Administration requires Five (5) O’level credits in English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and any two of the following: Commerce, Geography and Statistics is required.
(b) For Accounting requires five credits passes in SSCE/GCE/O’ Level/NECO which include English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and any other two social science subjects at not more than two sittings.

(5) LASU;
(a) For Accounting it requires other two relevant subjects could be from any of Principles of Accounts, Commerce, Office Practice and Secretarial duties.
(b) For Public Administration if requires 'O' Level credit to include English Language, Mathematics, Government, Economics and any one of Principles of Accounts, Commerce, Office Practice and Secretariat Studies.
(c) For Business Administration it requires Five 'O' level credit passes including English Language, Mathematics plus any three of Economics, Accounting, Commerce, Government and Geography.
(d) For Insurance, it requires Five 'O' level credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Economics plus any two of Accounting, Business Method, Commerce, Government, Geography and Statistics.
(e) For Marketing, it requires Five 'O' level credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Economics plus any three of Business Method, Commerce, Book Keeping and Economics.

(6) NTNU accepts one subjects from Accounting, Banking and Finance, Commerce, Geography, Business Studies, Government or Statistics in lieu of Economics.

(7) GO requires Five SSCE credit passes in not more than two sittings in subjects which include English Language, Mathematics and Economics.

(8) REDEEMER'S requires Five 'O' Level credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other two subjects in Social Sciences.

(9) CRAWFORD requires for Business Administration five 'O' level credit passes to include English, Economics, Mathematics and at least 2 from Business Methods, Accounting, Commerce, Geography and Government

(10) AAU requires five credit passes including English, Mathematics, Economics, Government/History and any other subject. AAU can accept History/Government. AAU also accepts Mathematics

(11) WESTERN-DEL (for Business Administration) requires five SSCE credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, Economics or Accounts, one other Social Science subject and any one other subject of choice.

(12) BELLS requires a pass in Physics for Business Computing and Information Technology.

(13) GO accepts
(a) For Business Administration and Marketing credit pass in Commerce in lieu of Economics.
(b) For Public Administration five SSCE credit passes in English, Mathematics, Government or History or Commerce and two other subjects.

(14) UMYUK accepts;
(a) Five credit passes at SSCE (or its equivalent) in English, Mathematics, Economics and any other two relevant Social Science subjects in not more than two sittings.
(b) For Business Administration, credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics or Commerce and any two Social Science subjects.
(c) For Public Administration, five credit passes or its equivalent in English, Mathematics, Government or History and any other two subjects from Arts or Social Science in not more than two sittings.

(15) RENAISSANCE requires five credit passes to include Mathematics, English Language, Economics or Accounting.

(16) NDA requires credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Accounting and two other subjects from Commerce, Geography, History, French, Arabic and Government.

(17) UNIBEN (for Insurance) – A pass in Further Mathematics is an advantage.

(18) UNIBEN (for marketing) requires five credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Economics and two other subjects at not more than two sittings

(19) BABCOCK - A pass in Economics may be considered provided the candidate has a credit pass in Accounting or Commerce.

(20) ELUON requires five (5) 'O' Level credit passes at not more than two (2) sittings.

Direct Entry Requirements


These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Business Administration, if you don't intend to use UTME.

You require;

Two (2)'A' Level passes including Economics.


SPECIAL CONSIDERATION (WAIVER) REMARKS

(1) AAU accepts:

a. BSc, BA or HND in other programme

b. ND upper credit in Accounting.

c. Foundation of ICAN

(2) UNILORIN requires
a) For Accounting acceptsat least three (3) ‘A’ level passes (not less than grade ’C’ (12 Points) including Accounting and at least one of Mathematics, Business Management, Economics, Statistics, Geography and Government.
b) Diploma in Accounting and Data Processing   with Upper Credit pass.
c) HND with minimum of Lower Credit pass.
d) ND in Accountancy with Upper Credit or ND with Lower Credit with ICAN (ATS)
e) ICAN (ACA).
f) For Business Administration acceptsNDupper credit in Business Studies/Business Management.
g) For Finance requires'A' Level passes not less than grade ‘C’ including Accounting and one(1) of Mathematics, Business Management, Economics, Statistics, Geography and Government, at least twelve (12) Points. Accepts ND upper credit in Banking and Finance in addition to meeting the UTME requirements.

(3) BINGHAM, AJAYI and AAU requires A' level pass in Accounts. Accepts National Diploma in Accounting, Banking and Finance or Business Management from a recognised institution.

(4) UNILORIN Accepts National Diploma in Accounting/Finance plus UTME.

(5) CUAB requires;

(a) two ‘A’ Level passes to include Mathematics and either Economics or Account.

(b) IJMB at acceptable grades.

(c) NCE, ND, and approved equivalent of with at least lower credit may be admitted to the appropriate level.

(6) CRAWFORD requires;
 
i. Two (2) 'A' Level passes in Economics and any one of Business Management, Geography, Accounting, Government, or Statistics

ii. NCE merit in Business Management or any Social Science subject.

iii. ND/HND lower credit in relevant subjects.

(7) WDU requires;

i. Two (2) 'A' Level passes in Economics and one other Social Science subject.

ii. ND in Accounting, Banking and Finance, Business Administration, Marketing or Insurance, NCE in Business Studies.

(8)AUE;

i. For Business Administration accepts 'A' Level passes in Economics or Business Management and one other subject or ND upper credit in Business Administration from recognised Polytechnics.

(9) SALEM requires 'A' Level passes in Mathematics and any other relevant subjects.

(10) GOUNI;

i. For Business Administration, two (2) 'A' Level passes in Economics and any one of Mathematics, Statistics, Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Agricultural Science, Accounting, Business Management, History and Government.

(ii) UMYU requires minimum of nine (9) points in IJMB/HSC/GCE 'A' Level/NCE in Economics, Mathematics and any of Social and Management Science subjects. Candidates with ND lower credit in relevant programmes from recognised institutions may also be admitted

(11) RNU accepts ND credit from a recognised institutions in related programmes like Accountancy, Business Administration, Banking and Finance, Marketing plus the UTME requirements.

(12) CALEB:

a. For Business Administration accepts ND credit level in Business Administration, Secretarial Studies or Social Sciences related studies may be considered for admission by Direct Entry provided they have the UTME requirements at one sitting.

(13) NUN accepts any two (2) 'A' Level passes in Arts or Social Science subjects, ND/HND lower credit or NCE merit in relevant programmes.

(14) MOUAU requires two (2) 'A' Level passes in Accounting and any other subject from Economics, Mathematics, Government. Accepts NCE, ND, HND lower credit in relevant programmes in addition to UTME requirements.

(15) PAU accepts

a. Two (2) 'A' Level passes in any relevant subjects

b. ND lower credit in relevant programmes.

c. NCE lower credit in relevant programmes.

d. HND lower credit in relevant programmes

(16) UNIKINGS requires:

a) two (2) 'A' Level passes in Accounting or Economics and one other subject.

b) NCE with passes at merit level in relevant subjects.

c) ND at credit level.

d) Foundation International exam such as ICAN, ACCA, ICMA, GPFA.

(17) ODUDUWA accepts NCE merit in relevant subjects.

(18) CHRISTOPHER requires two (2) 'A' Level passes chosen from Economics, Accounting, Business Management, Government, Statistics and Geography. Accepts HND, ND or NCE credit in relevant subjects.

(19) EDSU accepts;

a) Two (2) 'A' Level passes including Economics.

b) NCE with passes at merit level in relevant subjects.

c) ND/HND at credit level in related discipline.

d) Very good passes in JUPEB/IJMB subjects.

(20) UNIHEZ accepts Two (2) A level passes including Economics for Accounting and Business Administration programmes.

(21) KASU accepts Two ‘A’ level passes chosen from Accounting, Economics, Business Administration and one other relevant subject. Foundation of professional examination such as ICAN, ICCA, ICMA and ANAN. ND/HND Lower Credit in relevant Discipline. NCE at merit level in Accounting, Business Administration and Economics/IJMB 7 points and above in addition to ‘O’ Level requirements. For Marketing, KASU accepts Two ‘A’ level passes chosen from Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Statistics and Mathematics. HND/ND Lower Credit and NCE merit in related Discipline.

(22) KASU accepts Two ‘A’ level passes chosen from Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Statistics and Mathematics. HND/ND Lower Credit and NCE merit in related Discipline

(23) LANDMARK accepts Two (2) A level passes including Economics. (xlvi) PAN-ATLANTIC accepts; a) Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in any relevant subject. b) OND/ND with lower credit passes in relevant courses. c) NCE with lower credit passes in relevant courses. d) HND with lower credit passes in relevant courses. e) International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB) in relevant subjects.

(24) BIU requires in addition to the 'O' Level requirements specified, a minimum of two (2) relevant subjects passed at 'A' Level or NCE three (3) merits or NDcredit in relevant programme.

(25) UNIBEN accepts;

a. For Insurance and Actuarial Science:

i. Applicant should possess five (5) 'O' Level credit passes or equivalent, two (2) of which shall be at the 'A' Level or 'O' Level credit passes at least three (3) of which shall be at the 'A' Level provided that subjects are not counted at both levels of the examination.  Credit passes at the 'O' Level must include English Language and Mathematics.

ii. ND upper credit in relevant programme in addition to five (5) 'O' Level credit passes.

iii. HND lower credit in relevant programmes in addition to five (5) 'O' Level credit passes.

iv. Final Certificate of relevant Professional Bodies in addition to five (5) 'O' Level credit passes.

b. For Marketing:

i.UTME requirements plus two (2) subjects passed at the 'A' Level, one(1) of which should be Accounting and the other either Economics or Business Management.
