Explanation

A. Iman (0Lyyi) in Islam means faith or belief. It refers to a firm conviction in the heart about the truth of Allah, His revelations,
and the teachings of Islam.
Definition of Iman:
Iman is to believe with the heart, profess with the tongue, and act upon it with the limbs. It is not just belief but includes actions
and obedience to Allah.
The Six Articles of Iman (Arkan al-Iman):
A Muslim must believe in the following six things:
Belief in Allah - That He is One, without partner.
Belief in His Angels - Created beings who obey Allah's commands.
Belief in His Books - Including the Qur'an, the final revelation.
Belief in His Messengers - Including Prophet Muhammad (), the last of them.
Belief in the Last Day - The Day of Judgment and life after death.
Belief in Divine Decree (Qadar) - That everything happens by Allah's will, both good and bad.
Summary:
Iman is the foundation of a Muslim's life. It combines belief, speech, and action, and it can increase with good deeds and decrease with sins.

B. The Articles of Faith (Arkan al-Iman) in Islam are six in number and are arranged in the following order:
Belief in Allah (Imān billāh)
Belief in His Angels (Iman bil-malā'ikah)
Belief in His Books (Iman bil-kutub)
Belief in His Messengers (Iman bir-rusul)
Belief in the Last Day (Iman bil-yawm al-akhir)
Belief in Divine Decree (Qadar), both good and evil (Iman bil-qadar, khayrihi wa sharrihi)
These six pillars form the foundation of Islamic belief and are mentioned in this order in the hadith of Jibril (Angel Gabriel), when he asked the Prophet Muhammad  about faith (īman).

C. Here are the lessons from the last article of faith in Islam - Belief in Divine Decree (Al-Qadar), both good and evil:
- Allah is All-Knowing:
Everything that happens - past, present, or future - is already known by Allah. He is never surprised or unaware.
- Nothing Happens Without Allah's Will:
No event or situation occurs without Allah's permission. His will controls the universe.
- Trust in Allah (Tawakkul):
Believing in Al-Qadar teaches Muslims to rely fully on Allah, knowing that He knows what is best.
- Contentment in Life:
It helps a believer remain content with both blessings and trials, recognizing that all are part of Allah's plan.
- Patience in Hardship:
During difficult times, belief in Qadar gives comfort that trials are temporary and part of a greater wisdom.
- Humility and Avoidance of Pride:
Knowing that success is from Allah prevents arrogance. Achievements are by Allah's will, not merely human effort.
- Avoidance of Despair:
Even when plans fail or loss occurs, belief in Qadar prevents hopelessness - reminding us that better may be ahead.
- Encouragement to Keep Doing Good:
Belief in destiny doesn't mean being lazy. Muslims are encouraged to make effort, knowing that Allah rewards actions.
- Belief in Qadar brings peace of mind, balance in emotions, and a stronger connection to Allah in every aspect of life. Let me
know if you'd like short verses or hadiths to support these points.
- Accountability Remains Despite Qadar:
Even though Allah knows and wills all things, humans are still responsible for their choices and actions on the Day of Judgment
- Helps Prevent Envy and Jealousy:
Believing that everyone's blessings are part of Allah's divine plan helps a Muslim avoid envy and accept their own fate without resentment.
- Strengthens Hope in Allah's Mercy:
No matter the past, belief in Qadar reminds us that Allah can change our situation for good, and His mercy always outweighs His wrath.
- Encourages Sincere Dua (Supplication):
Knowing that Allah controls destiny makes a believer more devoted in prayer, trusting that sincere dua can bring about change.do
