this is not true according to the Maliki madhab which we follow on west Africa. Eating doesn't violate ablution. Deep sleep does. ☮️

The right answer to this question is eating
Eating does not invalidate ablutions but in some rear cases it does
But falling into deep sleep, farting, being unconscious invalidate the ablutions
